This is a 19 inch Parian figurine of a young Victoria, she is carrying the holy bible and wears a bracelet with Prince Alberts face. Her mourning cloths are flowing and is reminiscent of the sculptures of R Monti. The base is 9 inches wide. She is important because she is pictured here as a young woman & most of the parians of Queen Victoria are of an older woman. There is a fleck on the side of the base, Upon close examination, I feel that her large finger & very tip of her nose have been painted with the finger possibly being restored. Even, with these condition issues, how often do you see a full figured and young Victoria? (Item number: 621)
