Empire Dining Table. SOLD

A mahogany & mahogany veneer classical empire dining table, 54” rd closed with 6 original leaves, each leaf is approx 18“, pedestal does not open, 30” 1/2” tall, original finish French polished, circa 1840, there is a table with a similar opening mechanism show in American Master Pieces at the Munson- Williams-Proctor Institute.
