A pair of wrought iron Peacock Chairs by John Salterini. These elaborate wrought iron chairs are the best example of the craftsmanship of Salterini who was the premier manufacturer of wrought iron furniture in New York City in the 2nd quarter of the 20th century. The chairs maintain their original & worn finish, but would be lovely with a fresh coat of paint. There is a minor issue with a repair to one seat, & a close up of the seats shows how minor it is/ (Item number: 2739)
