Bench, Gothic Cast Iron 19th Century. SOLD

Cast Iron Gothic Pattern Garden Bench, mid-19th century decorated with a trefoil and quatrefoil reticulated back. An identical bench in size & design is placed outside the Gothic Revival library in the American Wing of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The bench was painted a high gloss black over a white finish by previous owner Ht: 35.5" Width: 39" Depth: 21" (Item number: 2716)
