An Elaborate Rosewood Victorian Easel with incised gilding, & gilt bronze lion head and other metal mounts along with a porcelain portrait medallion. New York circa 1865 attrib to Herter Bros, The shelf to hold the painting is adjustable, the finish is original & has been French polished, the shelf adjusts thru a mechanical mechanism that lifts it into brass grooves which is most unusual, there is a pad on the bottom which maintains worn original fabric (Item number: 27)
