Gas/Electric 9 Arm Chandelier SOLD

An Elaborate late 19thC chandelier originally made to be used as both a gas chandelier and an electric chandelier at the same time. At that period of time, with electricity being \"new\" many were still nervous about the power and preferred to have a fixture that was both gas & electric at the same time. The chandelier has the original 9 matching period acid etched globes with a blow out lion's heads at the top of the globes. What is most distinctive about this fixture is the body with its amethyst dots.
