Victorian Desk/Etagare Attrib To Herter Bros

A rare form, It appears to be a desk with an etagare top, however, there is a secret mechanical drawer on the side, unfortunately the mechanism that opens the drawer needs some attention. The original brass handles between the “Herter” inlaid front are false handles. The piece retains its original finish which has been polished. The Casters are signed India Rubber Co. as were Herter’s Casters. 60 inches tall, 30 inches wide, 25inches deep (Item number: 144)
