Argand Lamp; B. Gardiner

An Argand Lamp, made in the first half of the 19thC & retailed by the prestigious company Baldwin Gardiner NY. This lamp maintains the original period frosted and cut globes, which are one of the best cut globes I have seen. The cut crystal base is in perfect condition, and the bronze base maintains its original fire gilt & black bronze patina. The lamp has never been electrified making it important to early lamp collectors
